We are hiring Federal Budget Analysts to drive client solutions in our Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting (PBF) business. In this role, you will be responsible for providing federal budget expertise to Unison product teams, clients, and implementation partners as part of PBF deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Support PBF product advancements by providing federal budget insight to the Unison product management team.
  • Testing of the Unison PBF solution across budget processes. Proficient knowledge in the following processes desired.
    • Federal Budget Formulation with acute experience in budget publishing, exhibit generation, standard reproduction requirements.
    • Federal Budget Execution including appropriations, apportionments, spend planning, reprogramings, expenditure and non-expenditure transfers, allotments, full-time equivalent and employment analyses, and reimbursable agreement.
    • All phases of program/agency planning, programming, and forecasting including performance management.
  • Support PBF implementations at federal clients using proficient budget process knowledge.
  • Facilitate user adoption and change management to Unison’s PBF.
  • Correlate agency budgets into PBF and validate data fidelity.

Qualifications

  • Significant federal budget experience within the government or from a federal consulting contractor with explicit experience tied to planning, programming, budgeting, and/or executing phases of federal budgeting.
  • Knowledge of federal funds control, budgetary, and proprietary accounting with Oracle, SAP and/or Momentum. Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) a plus.
  • Working knowledge of federal business software ideally in the budget, finance, or acquisition space.
  • Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel and Access
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with government and Unison product teams.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
