VAO includes collaboration and productivity tools, best practices templates, online curricula, and summaries of breaking regulatory and legislative news vital to acquisition and financial assistance professionals. The Product Operations Specialist will be responsible for the workflow across all departments, helping to optimize activities and performance of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in and execute the operations needed to maintain the product, including communication, deliverables, documentation, product quality issues investigation and issue resolution
  • Support business partnerships across teams to ensure daily operations run most effectively
  • Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to define business requirements for change requests and product development, and prioritize the resulting developments and enhancements including JIRA ticket creation, communication, management, closure, and backlog grooming
  • Administer and operate development and implementation projects, ensure that all necessary business requirements are included, support test setups
  • Perform testing for product changes, market extensions and new product platforms
  • Secure that product change(s) are listed, documented, communicated, and evaluated
  • Administer activity data and manage reporting
  • Coordinate hand-offs between authors, subject matter experts, instructional designers, eLearning developers, and other project team members as needed
  • Assist with multimedia production

  • An interest in online training, course design, and technology a plus
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite a plus
