We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to manage our products in the federal budgeting space. This includes a new product addressing the overall federal budget process and an existing product focused on healthcare administration. This person will set strategy and lead the execution of our product roadmaps to achieve our vision, partnering with our Product Management team, business leaders, and Product Development to drive the success of our budget products, customers, and our company.

Responsibilities

  • Bringing our Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting product to market
  • Understanding and synthesizing the needs of our Budget market and customers
  • Developing a shared product vision and strategy in partnership with internal stakeholders
  • Partnering with other Product Managers to ensure Unison’s portfolio of product roadmaps meets the needs of the PBF business unit
  • Creating the business case and rationale for product investments
  • Collaborating with Product Development to deliver successful products/features
  • Continuously improving the Product Management team and function

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in product management, federal and/or budget experience is a plus
  • Effective communication skills with multiple groups: customers, sales, executives, and engineers
  • Product problem solving skills: ideating, creating, and evaluating solutions to customer needs
  • Business acumen: ability to evaluate market opportunities, calculate ROI, align product roadmaps to business goals, define OKRs, and create business case for product investments
  • Track record of high achievement in prior jobs, projects, or academics
  • Flexibility to do the work that adds value over adherence to a job description
  • DC-Metro based candidates preferred
