Responsibilities

Unison, a leading provider of COTS-based procurement and grants management solutions for the federal marketplace, is seeking technical consultants to support the design, development, implementation, and operation of its solutions.

 

Our Technical Consultants work on a broad range of assignments including the following:

 

  • Design, applying development process understanding, and testing of software enhancements and adaptations to Unison’s COTS solutions
  • Implementation of real-time integrations with other applications including Federal ERP software solutions and other administrative and programmatic systems
  • Support the technical configuration, management, and operation of Unison’s software solutions at client sites, including software installation, testing, configuration management, conversions, data base administration and related activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in two or more of the following: the design, applying development process understanding, implementation and operation of web-based applications
  • Experience in a Database Management System (DBMS)
  • Experience with SQL
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies is a plus:  XML/web services, ASP, .NET, SOAP, APIs and related technologies
  • Strong problem-solving, analysis, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to pick up new information and skills quickly
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Eligibility to obtain a government security clearance

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) tools (Talend, Python)
  • Experience in federal administration applications such as procurement, grants, financial management, asset management
  • Experience in Oracle DBMS
  • Knowledge of federal ERP software architectures such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, and others
  • Experience working as a contractor for Federal clients a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in related technical discipline
