Overview

Unison Global Software is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our Cost Engineering team and expand our North American customer base. In this role, you will sell our parametric cost engineering software to both new and existing customers across the United States and Canada, with a focus on government and government contracting entities. This is an exciting opportunity to drive sales and expansion in a well-established and growing market, with a primary focus on building the US government and GovCon footprint while also cultivating relationships with cost engineering services firms. You will have the autonomy to build and manage your own sales pipeline, and as part of the product strategy development team, you’ll provide valuable insights that will shape the future evolution of our product.

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Management: Build, manage, and expand your own sales pipeline, targeting both new logos and existing customers within your US territory. You will have support from our Solutions Consulting team, responsible for current customer engagement, as well as a part time Sales Development Representative.
  • Customer Engagement: Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to close for all North American opportunities, with a focus on selling parametric cost engineering software to US government and GovCon clients.
  • Market Expansion: Initially concentrate on expanding the US government footprint while developing partnerships with cost engineering services companies to foster mutual growth.
  • Product Feedback: Act as a key liaison between the customer and the product development team by providing insights, use cases, and feedback from the field to help guide product evolution.
  • Partnership Building: Cultivate and manage relationships with key decision-makers within government and GovCon sectors as well as industry associations to drive long-term sales success.
  • Sales Strategy: With the Business Unit Director, develop and execute sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall team growth and success.
  • Sales Execution: Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets, demonstrating consistent growth and expansion within your territory.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Proven track record of success in software or technology sector sales.
  • Prior experience selling into US federal government contractors preferred.
  • Strong ability to build relationships with customers, including government agencies, commercial enterprises, and service partners.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively influence decision-makers.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously to meet sales targets, while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a robust pipeline of opportunities.

Experience Needed:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in a sales executive role, with a focus on software or technology sales.
  • Previous experience selling to government agencies (federal, state, or local) is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in long-cycle, B2G/B2B sales involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of cost engineering services, including parametric estimation, cost modeling, and cost analysis is a strong plus.
  • A background in building and maintaining sales pipelines, and a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • US Citizenship required.
