Role Overview:

As a Content Marketing Specialist, you will be a core voice of the brand, responsible for transforming complex federal business challenges into engaging, accessible content that drives awareness, engagement, and demand. You’ll craft and manage multi-format content that reinforces Unison’s brand identity, helping government agencies, contractors, and decision-makers better understand how our products simplify their work and give them more time to spend on achieving their missions.

Responsibilities

  • Help execute a content marketing strategy tailored to the federal business (government contractors and federal agencies) space, supporting lead generation, thought leadership, and brand awareness expansion.
  • Create compelling written and visual content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, infographics, decks, videos, and email campaigns.
  • Develop content for and manage Unison’s LinkedIn presence, including organic and paid.
  • Assist in planning and executing paid advertising campaigns to target decision-makers and key personas.
  • Build and maintain polished, visually engaging PowerPoint presentations to support marketing initiatives, product pitches, and executive storytelling.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear, benefits-focused messaging for federal agencies and government contractors.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with audiences.
  • Maintain and evolve Unison’s brand voice across digital channels.
  • Optimize content for SEO and track and improve rankings.
  • Leverage analytics tools (Google Analytics, Fullstory) to track improve website engagement and user journeys.
  • Support campaign launches and product rollouts with targeted content packages and messaging frameworks.
  • Manage a repository of all design assets and native files.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B software content marketing.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and content creation skills with a portfolio of published work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing best practices, and audience segmentation.
  • Ability to translate complex, technical topics into digestible, audience-friendly content.
  • Experience with Webflow and Pardot
  • Experience using generative AI
