Role Overview:

As Product Marketing Lead, you'll serve as the connective tissue between Product, Sales, and Marketing, owning the narrative around what we build, why it matters, and how it helps our customers win. This role combines a deep understanding of our buyer personas with sharp go-to-market instincts. You'll position Unison's solutions in compelling ways, enable sales with assets and messaging that resonate, know the competitive landscape, and lead product marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Lead go-to-market strategies for product launches, enhancements, and campaigns-ensuring alignment between product roadmaps and market needs.
  • Define and evolve product positioning, messaging, and value propositions based on a strong understanding of our audiences.
  • Develop competitive intelligence and market research that informs product decisions, sales strategies, and campaign direction.
  • Build customer-facing collateral and assets, including product one-pagers, solution briefs, pitch decks, ROI calculators, and use case narratives.
  • Create and maintain persona-based messaging frameworks and battlecards to support sales and customer success teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to translate technical capabilities into clear, differentiated benefits for government buyers.
  • Support pricing and packaging initiatives by aligning business goals with market realities.
  • Partner with Corporate and Content Marketing to align product narratives across website, email, campaigns, and thought leadership.
  • Work closely with Account Management to spotlight client outcomes and shape customer marketing materials and case studies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise software; federal market experience is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to craft compelling, differentiated messaging and translate technical features into customer value.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills with experience developing sales collateral and marketing content.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer-facing teams.
  • Strategic, independent thinker who can operate hands-on and execute with minimal direction.
  • Experience supporting GTM launches and rolling out enablement programs.
  • Proficiency in using marketing and sales tools such as Salesforce, Webflow, Zoominfo, and Account Engagement (Pardot).
  • Familiarity with market intelligence and AI research tools
