Unison Software Solutions, a leading provider for procurement solutions to the federal marketplace, is seeking a Technical Lead Consultant.  Unison consultants work directly with clients to understand key elements of client business processes and then work to implement and operate Unison software products and service offerings by performing key tasks.  Consultants thrive on their personal and direct contributions that help our clients achieve substantial benefits from our suite of software products. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of database administrators, database engineers, system administrators, integration analysts, and security resources.
  • Manage monthly and on-demand deployments to production environments.
  • Manage the configuration management lifecycle for all technical baseline changes. Assess impact, level-of-effort, and prioritization to assign baseline changes to deployments and solicit Government approval to promote to production.
  • Generate contract deliverables, including monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Assist in new development work. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across database and server environments.
  • Conduct and support test events such as integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Triage incident escalations from user-facing help desk.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and postmortems.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) and Troubleshooting Guides (TSGs).
  • Design and implement internal team processes to enhance efficiency and collaboration.
  • Monitor, identify, mitigate, and resolve risk at both technical and program levels.
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholder groups including Government leadership, interface partners, COTS developers, COTS end-users, and internal teams from different workstreams.

Qualifications

  • Active CompTIA Security+ certification required, or equivalent certification to meet U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 8570/1840.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with the last 5 years with technical development and implementation of proposed COTS, any “equivalent” COTS OEM tool or similar relevant experience implementing federal acquisition system solutions.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience architecting and planning Federal ERP or Business Acquisition COTS information systems implementation, package application implementation including ERP packages, analysis, change management and process redesign preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years integrating COTS or GOTS capabilities with another SSOR preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years as a direct supervisor for technical resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay highly organized while delivering clear, concise, and effective written and oral communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, track, and manage team responsibilities in accordance with prioritization and deadlines. Demonstrated ability to shift priorities as needed.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining systems in a cloud environment preferred.
  • Experience with SQL and PL/SQL preferred.
  • Experience with web services and Python preferred.

 

Location:  Columbia, MD

Clearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph required

Salary Range: $125,000 to $170,000
