Unison, a leading provider of procurement and program management solutions to the federal marketplace, is seeking a Senior Program Manager to be a leader for delivery and operations and maintenance of large-scale, complex federal programs, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.  This is a senior consulting leadership role for an experienced professional services PM who has run highly complex federal delivery from proposal through steady-state operations.

Unison consultants work directly with clients to understand business objectives, improve acquisition and grants management processes, and successfully implement and operate Unison's suite of software products. Our Senior Program Managers are trusted senior leaders who own delivery outcomes, manage client and executive relationships, and build the teams and processes that make complex federal engagements succeed.

Responsibilities

Unison is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead delivery and operations of enterprise-scale federal technology programs, including but not limited to ERP, acquisition, and grants management implementations and operations. This role will serve as a senior delivery lead across one or more Federal client engagements, owning program health, client relationships, and financial performance throughout the full program lifecycle; from modernization implementations and operations & maintenance (O&M).

  • Own end-to-end delivery for large, complex federal programs, serving as the senior point of accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and quality
  • Serve as a primary trusted advisor to senior government stakeholders and Unison executive leadership on program health, risk, and strategic direction
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional delivery teams, including project managers, business analysts, functional consultants, and support staff
  • Manage program risk, issues, dependencies, and change control at an enterprise level, escalating and resolving issues before they threaten delivery
  • Support client relationship management, including executive briefings, governance forums, and contract performance reviews
  • Support business development activities, including proposal development, capture strategy, staffing plans, and pricing input for new and follow-on work
  • Guide programs through the full delivery lifecycle: requirements validation, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and transition to O&M
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, federal acquisition regulations, and program security/reporting obligations
  • Drive continuous improvement of PMO standards, tools, and delivery best practices across the portfolio
  • Identify and develop staffing pipeline and succession plans for key delivery roles within assigned programs
  • Represent Unison as a senior leader with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders

  • Demonstrated experience managing federal government programs, contracts, or technology initiatives at a senior or enterprise level
  • Experience owning program budgets, margin performance, and financial reporting for delivery engagements
  • Experience managing executive-level client relationships and facilitating governance, briefings, and escalations
